THE 2010 AW77
Athletics West was started by Nike and Geoff Hollister in 1997, created in an effort to turn US Track and Field around. Their team trained in the standard issue fleece, but Hollister, like many under the Nike flag, believed there was a better way. With that said, he took the hoody and improved it by keeping the zip halfway for breathability, the AW77 Half-zip Hoody was born.

Nike Sportswear has adopted the original proportions and modernized them. The 2010 version features a new composite fleece, side seams laser-cut bonded to eliminate chaffing and waterproof zips. Now available at Gallery on 4th!
MAN U CODE RED
For the first time ever, as part of Nike’s CODE RED, Manchester United F.C is inviting football fans behind closed doors of their pre-season training and tour of the US, Canada and Mexico. It’s a chance to see the team train, hear insights direct from players, coaches and some of the MAN U legends.
You can also choose what is featured in CODE RED through the Nike Football facebook page. They can also suggest which players they’d like to speak to and what questions they want to ask them. Chance of a lifetime.MY N98 MUSE
Paying homage to the original track jacket that Nike designed for 1998 Brazil football squad, the N98 track jacket. Nike and Tank magazine brought together 6 of the most exciting talent from the world of sport and fashion to customize the jacket. Six jackets were created, with each designer choosing their muse of choice from the best British 2012 Olympics hopefuls.
The one above was designed by Julian J Smith with 16 year-old sprinter Jodie Williams as his muse.
This was created by Katie Eary, with sprinter, Martyn Rooney as her muse.
Hannah Marshall designed this N98 inspired dress for 19 year-old distance runner, Charlotte Purdue.
This was designed by avant-garde menswear designer, Tim Soar. He customized the N98 for England’s rugby squad scrum half, Danny Care.
This one was designed by identical twin sisters, Annette and Daniela Felder as Felder Felder. The 19 year-old sprinter, Ashlee Nelson is also a fashion student so it was an explosive partnership.
This is a SIBLING creation, inspired by 21 year-old sprinter, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey. All these designers came out fresh and it was a wonderful play between sports functionality and fashion aesthetics. Photography was by Errol Rainy and styling was done by Chloe Kerman.
