It’s going down for one day only from 16h00 to 22h00! The date is the 27th of February 2010. The fact that it’s Pop Bottles ‘ check your sneakers’ edition the next day should be one of the major reasons why you should swing by and pick up a fresh pair.

AMAKHOSI SOWETO DERBY TEE

Gearing up for the exciting Soweto Derby, which has always been the ultimate rivalry match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, we have launched a special ‘limited edition’ tee.

The ‘Chiefs of Soweto’ limited edition t-shirt forms part of the Kaizer Chiefs 40th anniversary celebration and it was designed by Cape Town based design studio AMICollective. This was a collaborative effort where the designers chose to use a hand drawn approach with thick outlines in black to emulate the way Kaizer Chiefs fans hand manufacture their own stadium gear. Its now available at Gallery on 4th and other Nike Only stores for R199.95!

Ok zharp! If you are a proud Amakhosi supporter, come get yours before the Big Game on Saturday!

REJUVEN8NG STREETS!

Our good friends over at Nike Running have given us Lunar! Sneaker heads might call this one the futuristic Chukka but we call it the Nike Lunar Rejuven8 Mid+.

lunar-rejuven8-mid.jpg

This feather-light shoe was first released for athletes’ only feet at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Apparently after the Olympics, Nike Sportswear’s Footwear Design Director, Jesse Levya says “We became obsessed with the idea of a one-piece and seamless construction” thus giving birth to this pavement monster. It sits on a Varsity Maize Lunarlite foam midsole for the best in cushioning and flexibility. This colourway also compliments our Kaizer Chiefs colours! How Ayoba is that?!

Available in limited quantities at your favourite Nike Sportswear store, Gallery on 4th!
